John Quincey Adams

John Quincey Adams, 6th President of the US
On 29 September 1826, John Quincey Adams signed a document re-appointing Christopher Neale as Judge of the Orphans Court of Alexandria City, Virginia. This document is found in the probate records of Virginia Pioneers.
Adams, statesman, diplomat, Senator and member of the House of Representatives, served as President from 1825 to 1829. He was the son of former President John Adams and his wife, Abigail.  In the old days, many of the politicians resided in Alexandria City of the District of Columbia and this is where so many of their estates and wills are found (also see Arlington County) .
